Application of the pump
BW-250 mud pump is a horizontal three-cylinder reciprocating single-acting piston pump (see Figure 2), which is one of the main supporting equipment for geological exploration. Its main function is to supply flushing fluid (mud or clean water) into the borehole during core drilling so that it can circulate in the borehole, so as to carry the cuttings back to the ground, cool and lubricate the drill bit and drilling tools, and protect the hole wall. When it collapses, it can also be used as a cement slurry injection pump in foundation treatment projects, and the water-cement ratio of the cement slurry can reach 1:1.
The pump can be used as supporting equipment for a 1000-meter large-aperture drilling rig. It has a four-speed displacement. The flushing fluid used should not contain chemical impurities that can corrode metal and rubber parts. The recommended specific gravity when using mud is 1.03-1.10, the viscosity is 18-25 seconds, the sand content is not more than 4%, and the PH value is 7-8. There should be no debris, weeds, leaves, etc. that block the water filter in the mud. The length of the suction pipe should not exceed 5-6 meters.
