What is Tensioning jack ?
Tensioning jack is a special jack used for tensioning prestressed steel strand such as steel hinge line. The tension jack needs to be used in conjunction with the tension oil pump, and the power of tension and return to the top is provided by the high pressure oil of the tension oil pump. According to the different structure, it is divided into front clamp jack and through the core jack. Tensioning jack is a special jack used for tensioning prestressed tendons such as steel hinge lines. The tension jack needs to be used in conjunction with the tension oil pump, and the power of tension and return to the top is provided by the high pressure oil of the tension oil pump. According to the different structure, it is divided into front clamp jack and through the core jack. The tensioning jack has the advantages of compact structure, stable working during tensioning, high oil pressure and large tensioning tension. It is widely used in prestressed construction projects such as highway Bridges, railway Bridges, hydropower DAMS and high-rise buildings.

What is the difference between a pneumatic jack and a hydraulic jack ?
Pneumatic and hydraulic jacks are both devices used to lift big objects, but they work on distinct principles. Here are the main distinctions between pneumatic and hydraulic jacks:
1. Operating Principle :
Pneumatic jacks generate lifting force through the use of compressed air. Air pressure is provided to a piston, which lifts the lifting arm and generates lifting force.
Hydraulic jacks employ an incompressible fluid (typically oil) to transfer force. Pumping the handle applies force to a small piston, creating pressure in the fluid, which is subsequently communicated to a larger piston, lifting the load.
2. Lifting Capacity :
Hydraulic jacks often have a larger lifting capacity than pneumatic jacks. They are often employed in heavy-duty lifting applications.
Pneumatic jacks are commonly utilized for mild to medium-duty lifting applications due to their reduced lifting capacity.
3. Speed and efficiency :
Hydraulic jacks are noted for their smooth and steady performance, which provides exact control over the lifting process. They are efficient and can lift large objects with ease.
Pneumatic jacks are frequently faster to operate than hydraulic jacks, allowing for speedy lifting of lighter loads. However, they may not be as precise as hydraulic jacks.
4. Maintenance :
Hydraulic jacks require regular maintenance to keep the hydraulic fluid clean and at the correct pressure. They may be more susceptible to fluid leaks over time.
Pneumatic jacks are easier to maintain and less prone to leaks because they do not use hydraulic fluid. Regular inspections of the air compressor and hoses are required for peak operation.
