Much faster and greater output as compared to the conventional Chiseling/Chipping method. As drilling is comparatively easier in Hard rock and the output is directly proportional to the number of holes Drilled.
Due to smooth splitting operation, the remaining structure to be saved will remain intact. Also due to the advantage of control crack direction, we can achieve precise result-oriented output.
After the Drilling operation, the splitter wedges are inserted into the hole. Control wedges are set for movement. Hydraulic pressure pushes the center wedge forward by 415 tons (4045 KN) & split the material.
The splitting cylinder has a direction control valve, cylinder head & wedge set having one center wedge & two counter wedges. Wedges are coated with carbide & durable under very high pressure.
Splitters can be operated very easily. The unskilled site operator can easily learn to operate the splitter within a short time.
