How the rock splitter works:
The wedge is placed in the borehole. When operating the splitter, the power unit produces high-pressure oil to drive the piston of the splitter cylinder, which in turn pushes the intermediate wedge down. The downward movement of the intermediate wedge forces the two opposing wedges against the wall of the hole. When the tension is increased to the tensile strength of the material, splitting will occur.
Step 1: Drill holes in rock/concrete that need to be separated by suitable diameter and length.
Step 2: Place the wedge-shaped cylindrical set into the hole. Check the position before starting the separator.
Step 3: Once the separator is activated, cracks will occur due to the expansion of the reverse wedge. The crack direction of the rock/concrete is the same as the crack direction of the separator handle.
